Help! My Bluetooth Isn’t Working on Windows but It Works on Arch Linux

Hey everyone! I just set up a dual boot with Windows alongside my Arch Linux installation, and I'm running into a frustrating issue. My Bluetooth is functioning perfectly on Arch, but on Windows, it's not working at all. Instead of recognizing my actual Bluetooth device, Windows identifies it as a 'generic bluetooth adapter.' My motherboard is a Gigabyte B760 AX DS3H DDR4 (version 1.0), and I'm on BIOS version F14C, which is the latest. I've tried downloading all the drivers from the official website, but only the Wi-Fi is operational—Bluetooth just won't work! I even attempted to install drivers through Windows Update, but that didn't help either. The error code I'm encountering is 43. I'm really hoping to sort this out soon since I use Windows for sim racing. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like your motherboard might not have a built-in Bluetooth adapter, especially since the specs don’t indicate one. You might have added a Bluetooth/Wi-Fi card yourself. Try checking the Device Manager—right-click on your Bluetooth device, select properties, go to the Details tab, and then choose Hardware IDs. Copy and paste the first line here so we can help you figure it out!

I actually made a mistake earlier; my motherboard is definitely a Gigabyte B760 AX DS3H.
