I recently built a new PC with a new motherboard and CPU (Ryzen 9 5900X with a Tomahawk B550). I need to flash the BIOS but I'm running into some issues. I downloaded the latest BIOS version (non-beta) and put it on a USB stick. I connected it to the USB port nearest the flash BIOS button on the back and pressed the button while the power was on. It starts off with a red flash for a few seconds, then the GPU powers up fine, and the CPU fan also starts spinning. However, a solid red light above the motherboard power connector labeled 'CPU' turns on briefly, then everything shuts down, and the flash BIOS button stays solid red afterward. This PC has been giving me various problems for the past six months, and a local repair shop couldn't provide any helpful solutions. I'm hoping you can help! Let me know if you need more details. Thanks!

Did you follow the motherboard's instructions carefully for flashing the BIOS without booting? Make sure to format the USB stick to FAT32, extract the BIOS file from the zip, rename it exactly as required, and place it in the root directory of the USB drive. That's pretty crucial!
Yes, I formatted the USB to FAT32 and extracted the BIOS file, making sure it was the only file on the drive, and renamed it to end in '.ROM' as specified.
