Is the 7800X3D Upgrade Worth It?

I'm currently using a Ryzen 9 5950X with a 4070 GPU and a 700W PSU, and I'm considering an upgrade to the 7800X3D. I'm a bit torn about whether the performance gains are worth it based on benchmarks. I've also thought about the 9800X3D, but I'm concerned if my PSU would support that. Any advice on whether I should go for the upgrade and how it might impact my gaming experience would be really helpful!

Before deciding on the upgrade, check if your GPU usage in your most-played games hits over 90% on average. If it does, your current setup is working well. If you're often playing games that don't fully utilize your GPU—like Rust, Fortnite, or Tarkov—you might not see a huge difference with a new CPU.

I switch up games pretty often, and I find that in titles like Rust and Tarkov, the CPU is more crucial. I get solid FPS in Overwatch 2, but in GTAO, my GPU usage dips to about 30-50%. I'm mostly focused on 1080p and high FPS over visual quality.
