I've been exploring different Linux distributions and am particularly interested in Kali Linux and others like Parrot OS. However, I'm running into issues booting these from the USB menu on my laptop. I've experimented with several options including Kali, Lil Psycho Linux, Predator Linux, and Parrot OS, but I've only successfully run Tails and Parrot once. I've tried using different USB creation software like Rufus and Linux USB Creator, but none of them seem to allow an installation from the boot menu anymore. I haven't changed any boot settings since it worked before, so I'm puzzled about what went wrong. How can I resolve this to install one of these Linux OS, or is there an alternative way I could try installing Linux on a USB?

Did any of those USBs let you start a live session? Also, what exactly happened when you booted? Just nothing at all, or did you get an error message? It might help to check if the BIOS settings are configured correctly for USB boot.
I wasn't able to start a live session; instead, I received a specific error message that popped up in red. This happened with all the OS options including Tails, Kali, and Predator.
