I'm in a bit of a dilemma about whether I should upgrade some parts of my current PC or just go ahead and buy a completely new system. I've had this PC for quite a while and I'm aiming to run games more smoothly. I don't need the top-of-the-line specs, but I do feel like my storage definitely needs an upgrade and I'm not too sure about the rest of the components. Here's what I currently have: A320M-A PRO MAX motherboard, 16GB DDR4 RAM, an AMD Ryzen 7 2700X processor, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 GPU, along with a 1TB HDD and a 250GB SSD. Any advice on whether I should invest in parts or just get a new machine?

I think if you don't need bleeding-edge specs, just updating your BIOS and adding something like a used 5800XT or a newer 5600/5600X can be great options. And definitely grab a good 2TB SSD for storage. Also, consider adding another 16GB of RAM if your current sticks are 3000MHz or better. It can make a significant difference!
First off, what’s your budget? If you're looking to breathe some new life into your rig, extra RAM, a better GPU, and faster storage can really help. But if budget isn’t a constraint, consider investing more in a new video card and maybe some faster SSD options!
No strict budget, just trying to figure out if it's worth upgrading over getting a whole new PC.
If you want a more comprehensive upgrade, you’re looking at around $1153 for a full overhaul with a new 9700X CPU, 16GB of RAM, and an RTX 5070 on a 650W power supply. The video card is a must-have regardless of any other components you upgrade. If that price sounds steep, you might want to stick with upgrading to a Ryzen 5 series like the 5700X3D, which is way cheaper.
Thanks for the tips! Do I also need to look at upgrading my power supply if I go for these options?
