Hey everyone! I asked about affordable gaming PCs recently, and thanks for all the tips! I think I've found a deal that might work. Here are the specs:

- CPU: AMD RYZEN 5 5500
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080ti
- RAM: 2x 16GB DDR4
- Storage: 1TB HDD

Do you think this setup can manage playing Elden Ring at 30-60fps? Also, what should I ask the seller before I decide to buy? Thanks a million!

Yeah, definitely upgrade to an SSD! You can also look up your GPU and CPU on YouTube to see what frame rates you might get in Elden Ring. I believe with that setup, you could be close to 60fps!

What SSD do you think would be best for a build like this?

You should consider upgrading to an SSD, especially since having only an HDD in 2025 is pretty outdated. The Ryzen 5 5500 is comparable to the 3600 and doesn't support PCIe Gen 4. If possible, look for a used 3600 or 3700x or even a newer 5600x. Also, check the speed and timing of the RAM you’re getting!

Totally agree! I got an SSD a few weeks after I started using an HDD, and I don’t know why I waited so long. It made a huge difference! Even with a lower-end GPU, I can run Elden Ring at high settings without issues.
