Hey everyone! My iPhone 11 Pro Max took a tumble, and now the top half of the screen is totally unresponsive. I can't type the last digit of my passcode to unlock it, and since the phone died right after the drop, I can't use Siri to enable voice control. On top of that, my data hasn't been backed up in three years because I always get an error when trying to do so. I know I should have handled that sooner, but I'm really just looking for solutions to get into my phone or recover my data!

Definitely sounds like you need a new screen. Once that's done, come back here with the backup error message, and we can help you figure out how to address that issue!
You might want to get another screen installed, even if it’s just a temporary fix. It could allow you to access your phone and type in that last passcode!
But won't that risk wiping everything on the phone?
Yeah, if it’s just for a quick fix, why not?
Sounds like a plan! Just make sure to check your iCloud storage settings too.
