Is This PC Build Good Enough? Need Your Thoughts!

I recently asked a friend to help me choose some parts for my first PC build. I specifically wanted a setup with minimal RGB lighting and at least 2TB of SSD storage. They sent me a list of components, but since I'm new to this, I'm looking for a second opinion on whether this build is solid. Here's the link to the parts: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/JZwNDj. Any advice would be appreciated!

You might be able to save some money and still get better performance. For instance, instead of what you picked, consider going for the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU, which is one of the top gaming CPUs out there. You don't need a liquid cooler since it has low power draw—a good air cooler will do just fine. Also, check out some cheaper yet solid alternatives for the rest of the parts: a B850 chipset motherboard, a less expensive video card like the 5070 Ti, and better airflow with a different case and added fans. I’ve made a list of better options within a similar price range on PCPartPicker, feel free to take a look! [PCPartPicker List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/MsncFZ)

You can actually get a pretty decent setup for less cash. I recommend checking out the AMD Ryzen 5 7600X—it’s cheaper than the one you have mentioned and still really powerful. Plus, you can match it up with a solid motherboard that includes WiFi. I also listed some other parts up to date with prices that will give you solid performance without the flashy RGB. Thanks for the tips! The Ryzen 5 does look like a cost-effective option. I’ll check compatibility with the RAM and see what’s approved on the motherboard’s site. Really appreciate the advice!

Just make sure to ask your friend about the RAM compatibility too; it’s super important for your build. And good luck with your first build—it’s a fun experience!
