Hey everyone! I just picked up an EVGA 3080 Ti FTW3 Ultra (400W), and I'm planning to pair it with my Be Quiet Pure Power 12 850W PSU. In the box, I only got two daisy-chained cables (2x(6+2+6+2)). Is it okay if I use two regular PCI cables and one daisy-chained cable on the three-way connector? Thanks for any advice you can give!

Have you checked the manual? It usually has details about GPU configurations. For a 3-way GPU setup, it specifies needing one daisy chain and one regular cable, so that might clarify things for you.
Yeah, as long as you're using at least two cables from your PSU, you should be good to go!
Good, thank you! That's such a relief; I didn't want to spend even more on cables.
It should work fine, but keep in mind that with high-power cards like this, it’s usually not the best setup. Just a heads up!
I have this same PSU running my 7900 XTX without any issues. Didn’t have to limit the power and everything runs smoothly on ultra settings.
Yeah, 400W feels a bit on the edge, so just monitor for any crashes!
In the PSU manual's GPU configuration section, it does mention that for a three-way setup, I need to do one daisy chain and one direct cable. Thanks for pointing that out!
