I'm planning a PC build with a budget of around $1000 and I'm considering using a Ryzen 7600X paired with a Radeon RX 9060 XT. I would love some advice on other components or maybe some alternative suggestions. I'm not really focused on how it looks, just want the best performance since I'm the only one who will be using it.

I recommend checking out this build I crafted for you: [PCPartPicker Build](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rg8gWc). It keeps you under budget and offers solid performance for 1440p gaming. There's a way to downgrade some components to upgrade to a 5070 for better performance, but you'll want to ensure you don’t downgrade the CPU too much to keep everything balanced.

Here's a build that features the 5070 while staying closer to your budget: [PCPartPicker Alternative](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/NVrjxg). Just a heads up, you might need to tweak the case fan setup and you’ll only get 500GB of storage, but it should run AAA games at 1440p without any hiccups.
