My friend is in Japan for a competition and I've asked them to pick up a GPU for me since parts are cheaper there. I'm looking for recommendations for any good PC stores in Tokyo that stay open late. Any advice on purchasing and transporting the GPU would also be appreciated!

Check out Yodobashi Camera; they're usually open until about 10 PM. Bic Camera is another option, but don't expect too much from their PC parts section. It’s like a supercharged Best Buy. Good luck finding what you need!
Most places close around 8 PM, but Tsukumo eX stays open until 9 PM. If your friend can get to Akihabara early, I recommend checking out Tsukumo, Dospara, and Sofmap for better selections and deals on PC parts. Yodobashi might have a larger area, but their prices and selection for PC components can be disappointing. Just a heads up—if they can’t make it to Akihabara early, negotiation might help at bigger stores if you find a better price elsewhere. However, keep in mind that the selection isn’t always great.
Thanks for the tips!
It's interesting you said GPUs are cheaper in Japan—most folks find them overpriced compared to other markets like the US. I guess it depends on where you’re coming from. Just be aware that buying a GPU might not save you as much as you think.
Yeah, considering OP is from India, the prices might actually be better there.
That has nothing to do with the question!
Thank you!
