I'm looking to upgrade from my GTX 1070 since it won't be getting driver updates anymore. Both the RTX 3060 and 5060 are available at the same price, but I noticed the 3060 has more VRAM. One of my concerns is wattage since I don't plan on upgrading my PSU just yet. My current setup includes a Corsair CX600M 600W PSU, a Ryzen 5600X, and an A520 motherboard. I'm sticking with NVIDIA for now. Any suggestions or insights would be helpful!

Honestly, I think both options might not be the best long-term choices. The 3060 is decent, but a bit slow compared to what’s out there, and the 5060 only has 8GB of memory, which might limit you down the line. If you can, try to save up a bit more for a 5060 Ti with 16GB or even a 9060 XT with 16GB. Also, keep in mind that even without new driver updates, your 1070 will still function well for a while if you're satisfied with its performance.
Why are you sticking to NVIDIA? The 9060 XT is a great option and might serve you better. Just a thought!
I’d say definitely go for the RTX 5060 or the 5060 Ti. They’re solid entry-level GPUs and should serve you well!
