Is Upgrading from Ryzen 5 3600 to Ryzen 7 5700 a Good Move?

I've been using a Ryzen 5 3600 for about 5 years and I'm looking to upgrade while still sticking with an AM4 chip. I found a Ryzen 7 5700 at a really good price, and I'm wondering if it's worth the upgrade. What do you all think?

If you're after performance, I'd recommend looking at the Ryzen 5600 or the 5700X/5800X. The 5700 has 16MB of L3 cache, whereas the others have 32MB, which is a big deal for gaming. Locally, the prices for the 5700 is about $138, while the 5600 is around $120. I upgraded from the 3600 to the 5800X myself. Totally worth it!

Right now, I'm choosing between the 5600GT and the 5700. I might be able to get the 5700X, but I'm not too sure about it.

Have you considered going for the Ryzen 5700X3D? It's a great option for gaming if you can find it. But if you're limited on choices, that's understandable!

Yeah, the pricing does make it tough. Might be better to stick with the 5700 then.

Yeah, I looked into it, but it's really expensive at around $350 right now and not easy to get here.
