Issues with CodeTwo Signatures in OWA for Shared Mailboxes

Hey everyone,

I've been chatting with CodeTwo support about a frustrating issue we're having with signatures in shared mailboxes accessed through OWA (Outlook Web App). Our sales team loves using OWA because it lets them manage multiple inboxes in separate tabs, which is super handy. However, we've run into a big problem recently.

Here's the scoop: Everything was working perfectly until about a week ago. Although the CodeTwo add-in never showed up when we used the "Open another mailbox" feature, signatures were still being applied correctly. Unfortunately, that has changed over the last week. Initially, it happened with just one mailbox, but it's now expanded to five, and now we can't get signatures to apply in *any* mailbox opened this way.

CodeTwo suggested that we completely redeploy their solution, which feels like overkill and could be quite the project to tackle for us. I'm skeptical it'll actually fix the problem, so I thought I'd reach out here for anyone who might have alternative suggestions or similar experiences.

For what it's worth, I did some troubleshooting:
- I licensed a shared mailbox and logged in via OWA directly, where signatures were applied just fine.
- But when I tried to open that same mailbox using "Open another mailbox," no signature was applied.
- I even tested OWA with a local automatic signature (which we thought was disabled by CodeTwo policies), and guess what? The local signature came up, indicating there's definitely a disconnect.

Please note, adding the shared mailbox permanently in OWA is a no-go for us since it defeats the purpose of using OWA in the first place. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks a lot!

It sounds like Microsoft might have updated how add-ins work with the "Open another mailbox" feature. We are currently investigating this issue. Could you send us your ticket number? That way, we can keep track of your case closely!

Have you checked the mail trace to see if emails are being routed through the CodeTwo connectors? It might help clarify what's going wrong with your setup. You can refer to their guidelines [here](https://www.codetwo.com/kb/are-emails-routed-through-codetwo-service/) for comparison.

Yes, I did look into that! It seems like my emails aren’t matching the expected results. They don't appear twice in the message trace and there’s no CodeTwo info when I check the message details.
