First PC Build Taking Forever to Boot – Is This Normal?

I just finished building my first PC, but I'm worried because the initial boot is taking over 10 minutes and still hasn't connected to my screen. All the fans, RAM, and RGB lights are on, so I'm not sure what the issue might be. Here are my specs:

- CPU: Ryzen 5 7600x
- RAM: T-Force 32GB (16x2) DDR5-6000 CL30
- Motherboard: ASUS B850 MAX GAMING WIFI W
- PSU: Asrock SL-650G

Has anyone else experienced this? Should I be concerned?

That's definitely longer than it should be. If you haven't, make sure to check connections and try both HDMI and DisplayPort for your monitor. Sometimes it's just a matter of the graphics setup not being detected immediately.

Yeah, it shouldn't take that long to boot. Usually, long boot times are associated with issues like RAM training when you're using high-capacity RAM. Just give it a bit of time to work through it, but keep an eye out for any abnormalities.

Sounds like normal RAM training time for a fresh build. Just let it go and see if it posts eventually. Sometimes it can take a while, but if it posts at around 30 minutes, you're probably in the clear.

It sounds like you might be experiencing RAM training issues. Try booting with just one stick of RAM at a time to see if that helps. Also, consider doing a CMOS reset; it often fixes weird boot issues. Good luck!
