Why Won’t My WiFi Driver Install After Building My PC?

I just built my new PC and managed to install Windows, but I'm stuck because I can't connect to WiFi or Ethernet. I'm trying to install the WiFi driver for my TUF B850 Plus WiFi motherboard, but when I transfer the driver file from my USB and click the .exe, nothing happens. The driver doesn't show up in my Device Manager either. I've even tried downloading an older version, but that hasn't worked. I'm really confused about what to do next!

Have you tried downloading both the Realtek and MediaTek drivers? If you're still having issues, you might want to manually update the driver through Device Manager. You can usually find your WiFi device listed as 'Network Controller'. Here's a guide that explains how to do that!

I haven't tried the MediaTek driver yet, just the Realtek and an older version. I'll give the MediaTek one a shot in the morning. Also, I have Windows 11; can I still follow that guide?
