Hey everyone, I woke up to find an email from Apple saying my account access has been denied. The message was addressed to me, but I never requested anything, nor have I logged in recently! Now, when I try to recover my account, it says it's locked and can't be used. I checked their support pages, but they only lead me back to the sign-in page with the same error. How is it possible for someone to lock my account without my knowledge? Fortunately, I use another email for my main Apple ID, but this whole situation feels ridiculous. Does anyone know how I might unlock my account? Just to add, I've gotten this email three times now, and Apple support confirmed it's permanently locked.

Did you have two-factor authentication enabled? If you were only using security questions as your method, it can be tough to recover your account, especially if you didn't have much tied to it. It’s frustrating, but it seems pretty final if they've locked it permanently.
Seriously, just got another email about this. What a mess!
I got the same message today but I didn’t request anything either. This is really puzzling.
Looks like others are having this issue too. It’s so frustrating that there doesn’t seem to be a way to appeal or get it back.
Just got the same email as well. What’s going on?
You aren’t alone; it seems others are experiencing this too, which is odd.
Make sure that email is definitely from Apple Support and not a phishing attempt. If you clicked on any links to reset your password from that email, you might have given someone access to lock your account. Always check the sender address and any links before clicking on them.
I don’t think I had two-factor on there either. It's just really irritating since it was my primary email.
