Is My Custom PC Build Good Enough for My Daughter’s College Setup?

I just ordered a custom PC and I need some feedback on the build. Here's what I've got: Shadow Base 800 FX case in black, an AMD 9800X3D processor, Gigabyte Aorus Master 5080 GPU, Gigabyte Aorus Elite WiFi 7 motherboard, a Pure Loop 2 FX 360mm cooler, 32GB CL30 6000MHz Corsair RGB RAM, and a 2TB Samsung 990 Pro SSD. I also have a Corsair RM850x power supply. I'm wondering if all these components are compatible and if the 850W PSU will be sufficient, especially because I plan to undervolt the GPU. For context, I'm upgrading from a Bequiet 500FX setup with a Ryzen 7600X and a Sapphire Nitro VaporX 7900XT—my daughter is actually going to use my old PC for college, so I wanted to make sure this new build is at least an upgrade for me. Thanks for any advice!

Honestly, you're looking at a pretty decent upgrade for your daughter. The build is solid, and that 850W PSU should be enough, especially with your plan to undervolt the GPU. The Aorus 5080 is more powerful than what you're coming from, and you'll definitely notice the performance boost. Plus, it's good that you're thinking about her needs for college!
