What are the best brands for durable backpacks or handbags?

Hey everyone! I'm looking for recommendations on reliable backpack or handbag brands. My current backpack, which I've had for less than two years, has started falling apart, and I'm pretty disappointed. It has decent features like a laptop compartment and included protective carry bag, but I'm finding more holes in it, including near the zipper that shouldn't be compromised. I'm willing to invest a bit more money into something that's genuinely built to last. What brands do you trust for backpacks that can handle daily use without falling apart?

Thule backpacks have been my go-to. Mine has seen some serious wear, but after 3 years, it's still holding up strong despite a few scuffs. They've got a few models with great laptop protection too!

Funny story, I once squeezed my Thule under a bike wheel and it survived! Tough bag for sure.

I've been using a Thule for about 8 years now with minimal wear. Definitely worth the investment.

Timbuk2 is my top pick, especially the large messenger bag. It's weatherproof and has enough space for two laptops and a tablet. Plus, its leak-proof compartments are great for keeping food spills away from the tech! I've been using Timbuk2 for years, and they have excellent warranties too.

I’ve been using my Timbuk2 bag for about 7 years, and it’s still going strong! Perfect for both office and travel.

I had a Timbuk2 messenger bag that I've had for ages; it still fits my laptop and emergency clothes when I travel.

I use an Osprey for everything—daily, travel, you name it. It's been about 6 years, and it still looks almost new! They even have a lifetime warranty, which is a huge plus.

OutdoorEnthusiast -

Couldn’t agree more! I've had my Osprey for several years, and it's tough enough for rough outdoor use.

Osprey really does make fantastic bags! I've used mine almost daily, and it’s held up great.

For something reliable, I've had an old Jansport for about 12 years and it’s still in great shape. They offer a lifetime warranty too, which is nice if you ever run into issues.

JanSport is a classic! My first backpack was one of theirs, and I totally trust their products.

ThriftShopFinder -

I often hit thrift stores for older Jansports. They last forever and are usually in decent shape!

I got the Linus Tech Tips backpack, and I can't recommend it enough! I have the OG big one, and it’s really quality. They also have a smaller commuter bag now which looks awesome.

TravelerInStyle -

Yeah, that storage capacity looks impressive. Just waiting for better shipping options to Europe.

I've seen that commuter backpack—looks sleek and has less branding, which is nice.
