Why is my RAM showing different speeds?

Hey everyone! I recently added two 4GB RAM sticks to my setup, both rated at 1333MHz according to their labels and specs online. However, when I check in CPU-Z, it shows a DRAM frequency of 665.2MHz while Task Manager confirms they're running at 1333MHz. I also see the correct speed in BIOS. Is this normal for dual channel configurations, or did I get scammed on the RAM?

It sounds like everything is working as it should! The RAM speed you're seeing in CPU-Z (665.2MHz) is actually half of the effective speed (which is 1333MHz) because of how dual-channel memory works. So no scam here!

Oh, I see! So it’s normal for it to show that way in CPU-Z? Thanks for clarifying!
