Help Me Build a New Computer for Gaming and 3D Printing

I'm looking to build a new computer that can handle 3D printing without crashing, especially since my current setup struggles with that when I'm using my 3D software. I also game a bit and need to watch TV, as I have two 4K monitors connected. I have a 30 60 12GB GPU I want to use, and I'm aiming for at least 12 to 16 terabytes of internal storage as well as 32GB of RAM. My computer is my lifeline for everything, including gaming, so I want to make sure it runs smoothly and quietly. I'm open to recommendations on parts that would suit both heavy workstation tasks and gaming. Any help to get started would be greatly appreciated!

First off, it sounds like you're going for a solid build! For gaming and 3D tasks, I'd recommend a motherboard compatible with your GPU and a decent Ryzen or Intel processor—maybe Ryzen 5 or Intel i7. With 32GB of RAM, you should have no issues multitasking. For storage, consider getting a couple of SSDs for your operating system and active projects, then larger HDDs for all your files. This setup should provide both speed and capacity!

Yeah, I agree! Also, make sure your power supply can handle everything, especially if you’re running multiple drives.

For 3D printing, your GPU is important, but don't overlook the CPU; it needs to be strong enough to handle rendering and calculations. The RX6600 cousin could work well too if you’re looking for other options! I had a lot of trouble with basic GPU tasks until I upgraded mine. Also, 32GB of RAM would really help with your workflow.

Definitely! And don’t forget about cooling; having a good cooler can keep things quiet and efficient during those heavy tasks.
