Hey everyone! I just took apart my old desktop to build a new one, and I've got a list of the components I'm either using or planning to buy. I'm looking for some advice! I'm going with a dual GPU setup and I'm not sure if the motherboard and case I picked will accommodate the size of the GPUs. Can anyone help me with how to check the compatibility of these parts?
Also, my old PSU needs replacing because it's been turning off randomly and clicking on and off. I'm going for a modular PSU again, and I'm thinking of brands like SeaSonic or Thermaltake. Any specific models you would recommend for my new build? Thanks in advance!

Are you sure about going with dual GPUs? SLI really isn't what it used to be and doesn't really work with AMD cards. Just a thought!
Just a heads up, while you can swap out your EVGA modular PSU, make sure to use the cables that come with your new power supply. They're not interchangeable with other PSUs unless they’re specifically designed to be compatible. Also, what’s the main use for your dual GPUs? They're pretty niche these days.
I have the hardware lying around and I've got a few projects in mind that would benefit from it. I’m pretty sure the EVGA cables have revision markings, so I think I can find a suitable replacement without any issue. Just trying to figure out a more reliable PSU this time!
I didn't know SLI didn't apply to AMD, that's good info! I have the hardware, and the reason for dual GPUs is mostly for VM hardware passthrough for a couple of projects I'm working on.
