Hey everyone! I'm looking to buy a gaming PC that can handle all current games smoothly, ideally on high settings for great visuals. I've done a bit of homework on individual components, but I'm unsure about how well they work together. Here's what I'm considering for my build:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 7700, 8 Core, 16 Thread, 5.3GHz Turbo
- **RAM**: Corsair Vengeance 32GB (2x16GB) 5200MHz C40 DDR5
- **GPU**: ASUS Dual Nvidia Geforce RTX 5060 Ti, 16GB
- **Motherboard**: ASUS Prime B650M-R Micro ATX DDR5
- **CPU Cooler**: Thermalright Assassin X120 SE
- **PSU**: Gigabyte GP-P750BS, 750W 80+
- **SSD 1**: Samsung 990 PRO 1TB NVMe PCIe Gen 4 M.2 SSD (Read 7450MB/s, Write 6900MB/s)
- **SSD 2**: Should I get a second?
- **OS**: Is it worth it to pay for Windows 11 pre-installed and optimized?
- **Wifi**: Do I need to buy a separate wifi card? Does my motherboard support it?
I'm looking for a setup that's somewhat future-proof and will last for a few years. Thanks for any advice!

I see a few things you could optimize. For RAM, try to go for 6000MT CL30 which is recommended for AM5 CPUs. And just a heads up, your motherboard doesn’t have built-in wifi, so you’ll need to grab a separate wifi card. The 5060 Ti should manage 60FPS or more at 1440P quite well, and you can enhance performance with DLSS for tougher games.
It looks like a solid build overall, but it really depends on your gaming resolution. Are you planning for 1080p, 1440p, or 4K gaming?
I'm aiming for 1440P. Will this build handle that well?
You definitely need that second SSD for games. Keeping your C: drive optimized with just system files is a good practice.
I can get a 6000MHz C36 RAM. That should work, right? Also, I usually use ethernet, but I’m thinking of the ASUS PCE-BE6500 Wifi 7. Should be fine for 1440P gaming after those upgrades, right?
