I recently upgraded my GPU to a powerful 9070XT, but I'm noticing that my Ryzen 5 3600X isn't quite cutting it and I'm experiencing some major bottlenecking. I'm wondering if it's worth it to upgrade to a 5800X3D, or if I should consider getting a new motherboard as well. By the way, I currently have an MPG X570 Gaming Plus motherboard from MSI.

The 5800X3D is getting tougher to find new these days. Honestly, I'd lean towards going AM5, since the availability and pricing are better right now.
If you're thinking about an upgrade, I’d recommend switching to DDR5 alongside any new parts. Your current GPU and NVMe drives could really benefit from a more modern motherboard setup.
Moving to the 5800X2 would be a solid improvement. Assuming they still produce these CPUs, it could give you a nice performance boost, definitely worth considering.
Yeah, I'm planning to get one when I can. Just hope they don’t stop making them any time soon.
