Thinking About Upgrading My PC Setup – What Should I Focus On?

I've had my budget gaming PC for about three years, and it's been working pretty well overall. My current setup includes an Intel i5 10400F running at 2.9 GHz, a Zotac GTX 1660 Super with 6GB of VRAM, and 2x8GB of 2400 MHz T-Force RAM. While I'm happy with it, I'm starting to feel limited—it handles most games on 'Medium' settings, but I'd love to bump up the graphics and play some modern titles without dropping down to lower resolutions. I'm considering a GPU upgrade, ideally spending around $200-$250 and I'm open to buying used. I'm also thinking about upgrading my RAM to 2x16GB of 3200 MHz sticks since I can find them at a good price. Any suggestions on what I should prioritize?

You might want to check out the 7700XT; it sometimes goes for around $250. Other good options in that price range include the 4060 Ti, 4060, and 7600XT. Upgrading the RAM is a great idea too, especially since it can really help with performance in games and other tasks!

Thanks for the tips! The RAM upgrade sounds really appealing since I’m a student and more memory would definitely help with programming projects and lab work.
