I'm building a new PC and I'm seeing a warning related to my BIOS updates. You can check out my parts list here: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/7gFNMC. I'm currently on BIOS version 3.01 and I'm wondering if I should update to a newer version or stick with 3.01. The thing is, I'm on a budget and can't afford to buy a new motherboard. Any advice on whether it's safe to update or if I should just stay put?

Since you're on BIOS version 3.01, which was released in May 2024, it's possible your mainboard is already up to date if it was made recently. Most sellers don't keep them for more than a year, so you might just have a fairly new board. Also, keep an eye on your storage; the NV3 drives often utilize QLC flash which can wear out faster. You might want to consider upgrading to a more durable TLC-based drive if that's a concern.
Firstly, check your motherboard's manual to see if it has a BIOS flashback feature. If it does, make sure to prepare a USB drive for the BIOS update ahead of time. This feature can really save you if anything goes wrong during the update!
Yes, that motherboard definitely has BIOS flashback, so you should be good to go!
