Hey everyone! I'm from Canada and I'm on the hunt for a solid GPU that fits under a $500 CAD budget. I've come across a few options: the ASUS RX 9060 XT 16GB for $550 (or $600 with tax 😩), the GeForce RTX 3060 Twin Edge 12GB at $370, and the GIGABYTE Radeon RX 7600 XT for $500. I'm considering using it with an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-core processor, but I'm still undecided. Any suggestions or recommendations would be super helpful since I'm a complete noob and just want to build a good gaming PC!

Of all your options, definitely go for the 9060 XT 16GB! It's a brand new card, and I wouldn't recommend anything with less than 12GB. You might also find a used 6800 XT for a good price, if you're looking.

If you're open to it, the 7800 XT is going for about $530 USD in my area. You might want to check that out to see how the prices compare in Canada. It's a strong match with the 5600X as well.

I'd recommend going for a 30 series card! I had a refurbished ROG Strix 3070 Ti that worked great for around $300-400. Pairing it with the R5 5600X would be fantastic for a budget build!

Consider picking up a used 3080. The 12GB version would be ideal, but even the 10GB is still very capable and easier to find at a reasonable price. It's worth a shot!

The 9060 XT is likely your best bet, especially if you can snag the 16GB version. Even the 8GB is cheaper, but the 16GB is around 3070 Ti performance, plus it comes with newer tech like better ray tracing and power efficiency. Just something to keep in mind!
