I currently have Windows installed on my HDD, but I want to move it over to my SSD since I plan to repurpose the HDD for something else. Both drives are mostly empty, so I'm looking for the easiest method to do this. Can anyone guide me on the steps I should take?

If you don't need to keep any data on either drive, the simplest approach would be to unplug the HDD and perform a clean installation of Windows directly onto the SSD. This ensures a fresh start, and you won't run into old file conflicts.

Thanks for the tip! Quick question: if I use the Media Creation Tool (MCT) to make a USB for installation, does that mean I can install Windows on my SSD without having to activate it again since I'm transferring it from my HDD?
