Thoughts on My New PC Build Before I Order?

I'm planning to upgrade my old PC and wanted to get some opinions on my current build before I place an order. My friend helped me put this list together, but I'd like to ensure I can get more than 45 frames while playing games like Borderlands 4 and other new releases, ideally without setting everything to low. Any advice would be much appreciated! Here's the link to my build: [Newegg Build](https://newegg.io/be522fa)

Honestly, I think you might be overpaying for the Intel and motherboard combo. Have you considered the AMD Ryzen 7800X3D? It could save you some cash while giving you similar or even better performance. Plus, with AMD, you have the option to upgrade later without needing a new motherboard every time.

Thanks for the advice! I didn't realize the combo situation with Intel. That makes sense!

Are you stuck to just Newegg for your parts? If you're open to other vendors, it might help with pricing, especially if there are sales. Let me know if you want other suggestions.

No specific reason for Newegg. I have to order online since I live in a small town. Any recommendations would be great!

Just a heads up, 1TB isn't that spacious these days for gaming. If your budget allows, consider going for at least 2TB or even 4TB to future-proof yourself a bit more.

Check out this alternative build I whipped up; it’s cheaper and gives you the flexibility to upgrade later. The 7800X3D should pair nicely with a 5070 Ti. Here’s the breakdown on PCPartPicker: [PCPartPicker List](https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/wDhDLc). Total cost is around $2367.16. Let me know what you think!

This looks really solid! Thanks a ton! I’m not super experienced with building, so this helps a lot. We initially opted for the i7 for a bit more future-proofing, but this might be a better route.
