I've bought three MacBook Pro 2020 models from Backmarket, and all of them have faced similar display issues. It starts with light flickering on white pages, then progresses to random color flashes, vertical black lines, and eventually the screen completely dies. I'm already on my third laptop, and I've noticed the same flickering started again. Each time, the company has honored my warranty requests, but I can't help but wonder if I'm somehow causing this problem. I don't use my MacBook very much (less than six hours a day), I never keep the brightness at max, and I always take good care of it—no drops, spills, or anything. I'd appreciate any advice you can share! Thanks!

Honestly, some people think buying from Apple is the way to go, but I’ve had my share of issues with their products too. Maybe consider looking at models outside of the refurbished ones? You could just be unlucky with the models from Backmarket or something. It's frustrating for sure!
It might be worth steering clear of Backmarket if this keeps happening. I know it's affordable, but for peace of mind, saving a bit more for a reliable source could be better in the long run. Plus, maybe try checking out other places for refurbished devices?
I get that it’s tough when you’re on a budget! If they’re replacing your laptops without issue, it’s not too bad, but maybe check other retailers for a better warranty or customer support.
My M1 MacBook Air has been great, though! I had screen issues after five years, but considering all those years, I can’t complain much. Just a thought!
