Hey everyone! I'm considering pursuing the RHCSA certification, but I don't have any experience with Linux at all. Do you think it's a valid first certification for someone like me? If it is, where should I begin my learning journey? Thanks!

Honestly, if you're starting from scratch and don't have someone to cover the costs for you, the RHCSA might not be the best choice right away. One of the requirements is taking a course, which can get pricey. Have you looked into alternatives like CompTIA Linux+ or LPIC-1? The latter is generally seen as a more affordable and solid option.

My employer will pay for the course, but I want to make sure I start off with something that matches my current skill level. Any recommendations?
