Honestly, if you're starting from scratch and don't have someone to cover the costs for you, the RHCSA might not be the best choice right away. One of the requirements is taking a course, which can get pricey. Have you looked into alternatives like CompTIA Linux+ or LPIC-1? The latter is generally seen as a more affordable and solid option.
My employer will pay for the course, but I want to make sure I start off with something that matches my current skill level. Any recommendations?
