Need Help Building My First PC on a $600 Budget

I'm in the process of building my first PC and I've just bought an AMD RX 9070 XT GPU. I'm now looking to get the other components, specifically an AMD CPU and motherboard, and I'm working with a budget of $600. I prefer new parts only and I won't be overclocking. Any recommendations for the best build within this budget?

Do you need a case or an SSD? It might be tricky to stick to $600 unless you go with AM4 components since that's more affordable. Also, if you buy a cheap case for around $40-50, that could help your budget a bit!

Yeah, I need everything, but I'm okay with getting a basic case for cheap.

Here's a build that exceeds your budget at $700, but it offers great quality for your GPU. You can check it out here: [Pcpartpicker list](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/mqnRdb). Just keep in mind that going cheaper may sacrifice quality. If you’re flexible with your budget, it's worth considering!

I'm willing to stretch to $700 if it guarantees a high-quality setup for my GPU.

If you really want to stick to $600, you might have to adjust your expectations a bit. Adding everything else will be tough at that price point for an AM5 setup. I recommend checking parts on pcpartpicker.com to get a better idea of what's feasible!

What does AM5 even mean? I keep seeing that term.

Here's a solid setup you could consider for around $600: [Pcpartpicker list](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/XVKkYd). If you can extend your budget by $100, you could really enhance the overall performance!
