Hey everyone! I'm exploring new label software since our team can no longer use BarTender due to some licensing headaches. We want something affordable with a perpetual license that's user-friendly since the warehouse team will be handling it. It should support adding barcodes and our company logo. Any recommendations on software that would fit these needs? Thanks!

You might also consider creating a simple label generation program using Python. While it seems a bit technical, it could be tailored exactly to your needs and potentially save money in the long run.
Is there a specific reason you can't keep using BarTender? I remember using it before, but I haven't checked on it in a couple of years.
Yeah, it's a bit of a silly reason to switch. We had a perpetual license, but it hasn't been recognized by the app for a while now, and the support couldn't help retrieve the key. The renewal cost for a new license is also pretty steep, so I'm looking for alternatives.
Have you looked into Bartender Ultralite? It's free with certain printers, so it might meet your needs. Just keep in mind that if you want any automation, you’ll have to pay for the premium versions.
Thanks for the tip! Automation isn't really necessary for us right now, so I'll check out Bartender Ultralite tomorrow!
We've been using Brother label printers with the P-Touch Editor software, which works great for us. We can design labels with barcodes and our logo, and the print quality is fantastic. Plus, the labels stick well and last a long time without any issues. It's a reliable option if you're looking for something that works without internet connectivity.
That's an interesting idea! I wouldn't mind learning some basic Python for the warehouse team, but I worry about needing a user-friendly GUI for them. If we can make it simple, I’m open to finding a developer to help out with that!
