I need some serious help! My Windows 11 laptop started acting strange – the mouse is moving by itself and dragging my desktop items around. It even opened up all of my PDF files on the desktop and started searching through them! I panicked and tried to shut down the laptop, but accidentally hit restart instead. I quickly unplugged the Ethernet cable, and everything seemed okay while offline, but I'm concerned about what could be going on. Any advice on what this might be and what steps I should take next?

First things first, when you're dealing with unexpected mouse movements, there's a good chance it could be a remote access issue. While you're offline, I'd recommend disabling any remote desktop connections and removing any third-party software that could be giving someone access, like TeamViewer or AnyDesk. Also, it might be a good idea to change your Windows password just in case! Let me know if you need help checking for those apps.
Make sure to check your BIOS settings as well. Sometimes, changes there could lead to odd behavior, but please back up your data before making any adjustments! It’s better to be safe.
