I recently installed 2x32GB Corsair Vengeance RAM on my MSI B850 Tomahawk Max motherboard, putting them in the 2nd and 4th slots. However, when I check in Windows and the BIOS, it only recognizes a total of 32GB instead of the expected 64GB. I've even tested the RAM sticks and the motherboard slots individually, and they all show up as 16GB each. Could this be a quality control problem from Corsair?

If both sticks are new and sealed, returning them might be a good idea. It's possible there's a mix-up with the labels or even a factory issue.
Have you tried using HWInfo64 to check the RAM details? That software can give you more insights on what's being recognized by your system.
Just to clarify, did the box look unopened and sealed when you got it? Sometimes if it looks like it was tampered with, it could raise some red flags about what's inside.
