Looking for an Arch Distro Without AI Backgrounds

Hey everyone! I'm currently enjoying Garuda Linux, but I'm really not a fan of the AI-generated wallpapers that come with it. I find Garuda Rani to be an incredibly helpful tool for configuring everything in Arch, but I'm considering if there are any other distros that offer a similar experience without the AI backgrounds. Alternatively, could I just switch to a raw Arch setup and still keep using Rani? Or am I stuck with what I have? I've been using Linux for a bit, but I'm not too knowledgeable about all the different distros out there. Any advice would be appreciated!

You can easily delete the default wallpapers from your system if they bother you. It might seem like a small thing, but if it’s not your vibe, just remove them!

Honestly, if my distro started pushing AI wallpapers, I’d be looking for alternatives too! It’s not just about the wallpapers; it reflects a certain mindset. If that bothers you, definitely explore other options.

I did some digging on Garuda Rani, and it looks interesting! While I'm not sure of other distros with a similar tool, I think you should definitely be able to change wallpapers in any distro. That’s usually step one after installing!

Have you looked into other Arch derivatives? EndeavourOS is pretty solid and user-friendly! You could also check the AUR for Rani; it might still be available even if you switch distros.

If Garuda works fine for you, why not just download your own wallpapers? It's a pretty simple solution and could save you the hassle of switching distros. Plus, you'd get to personalize your setup!
