Last year, I revamped my PC setup but kept my GPU. Now, my RX 6700 XT has died, and I'm in the market for a replacement. Here's what I have: Ryzen 5 7600X, Gigabyte B650E AORUS ELITE X AX ICE, 2 x 16GB DDR5 RAM, and a 650W Cooler Master Power Supply. I game on a Samsung Odyssey G5 with a 165Hz refresh rate and 1440p resolution. I mainly play single-player games like Red Dead Redemption 2 and older titles, plus some competitive ones like Marvel Rivals and COD. I'm not looking for cutting-edge graphics or ray tracing features.

Your question about Smart Access Memory (SAM) is interesting. Just a heads up, you'll need to enable SAM with the B580 anyway, so it’s not an option you can skip. The B580 is decent but has some driver issues, so weigh that before you decide on going Intel.

Honestly, the RX 7700 XT blows the B580 out of the water. If you can swing the extra cash, it's absolutely worth it. The B580 is more like a budget option but could be solid if you find it at a good discount, considering it has 12GB VRAM.

Make sure to watch some YouTube benchmarks for these GPUs to see their FPS performance. You might want to consider getting a higher-end card like the 9070 XT or 5070 Ti if you can stretch your budget. It's wild how much prices have changed in the GPU market.

If you're okay with used GPUs, I’d suggest checking for an RX 7800 XT; you might find it in the €400 range, and it's definitely a worthwhile upgrade compared to the new RX 7700 XT.

I don't have any concrete answers but I'm also on the lookout for a similar upgrade, so I'm following this for suggestions.
