I've got a pretty solid setup with an RTX 4060 Ti, 32GB of RAM, and an i5-12400F CPU. Most games work just fine, but I'm experiencing weird issues in a couple of my favorites, specifically CS2 and Rust. The problem is that when I change the graphics settings, my FPS doesn't seem to budge. For example, in Rust, when I switch from high to low settings, my FPS only fluctuates between 80-90, and I only see slight changes from 70-80 FPS. In CS2, I usually get around 180-240 FPS on the highest settings, but when I drop down to low, it's only around 200-250 FPS, which isn't much of an improvement. Even with those higher numbers, CS2 feels laggy, which is frustrating. I've tried a lot of troubleshooting steps and I know about the 50+ FPS tips, but I wanted to get some insight into why my performance is lacking—I'm not super tech-savvy but hoping for some help!

You might want to check your CPU and GPU utilization while you’re playing at different settings. If one of them is maxed out while the other isn’t, it might point to a bottleneck.
Have you tried restarting your game after making any graphics changes? Sometimes, that can help get things functioning better after tweaks.

That makes sense. I did upgrade from 16GB to 32GB recently, but the performance hasn’t changed much in those games.
