How can I access advanced BIOS settings on my Acemagic AX16 PRO laptop?

I'm trying to get into the advanced BIOS settings on my Acemagic AX16 PRO laptop. I've been at it for over two hours without any success, and I'm starting to feel like I'm just chasing a rumor. My main goal is to change the UMA frame buffer size. The laptop currently has less than 500MB of VRAM, but I recently upgraded my RAM and want to ensure my system can utilize it properly. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like you've already got a good amount of RAM installed! If you're on a supported operating system, the laptop should be using the RAM efficiently. The BIOS setting usually just changes the minimum allocation, and the graphics driver pulls more from the RAM when needed. But just a heads up, there isn't really dedicated VRAM; everything is shared. Let me know if that helps!

I get your frustration! I started with 16GB RAM and upgraded to 32GB too, yet my laptop still shows only around 500MB for VRAM. So I totally understand where you're coming from. It might seem like the RAM isn't being allocated properly, but that's how these shared systems work a lot of the time. If you aren’t seeing any performance boosts after upgrading, I’d suggest checking your task manager while running some intensive tasks to see how memory is being utilized.
