I'm looking to improve my current PC build and want to know if there are alternative components that offer better value or performance while staying around the same budget. Here's my current setup:
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 5 5600 - £128.41
- **Motherboard:** Gigabyte B550M AORUS ELITE AX - £97.99
- **Memory:** Silicon Power GAMING 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 - £67.98
- **Storage:** Kingston NV3 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 NVME SSD - £64.99
- **Video Card:** Gigabyte GAMING OC Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 GB - £322.10
- **Case:** CiT Slammer MicroATX Mid Tower Case - £29.99
- **Power Supply:** MSI MAG A550BNL 550 W 80+ Bronze Certified - £32.99
**Total Cost:** £744.45
Are there better components or upgrades I could consider that wouldn't significantly raise the price?

You might want to consider spending just a little more and upgrading to the Ryzen 7 5800X. It’s great for future-proofing because of its extra cores. For just £10 more, it could really pay off in the long run!
If you go for the 5800X, don't forget to snag a decent cooler since it doesn’t come with one like the Ryzen 5600.
Just a heads up, the build you have is on an older platform. You might want to switch to AM5 with the Ryzen 5 7600. It's not significantly pricier, but it’s a future-proof choice with the latest features. Check out the suggested parts here for a solid upgrade!
What do you mean by a 'dead platform'? I’d like to understand why I should switch!

You can actually upgrade to the Ryzen 7 5700X for just £4 more than the 5600. That’s an even better deal without breaking the bank!
