I'm having a really frustrating issue with my laptop. It claims to be connected to the Internet with a strong signal, but I can't seem to access anything online. I've updated everything—drivers, browser, Windows—and scanned for viruses with no luck. I've also reset my Internet settings, cleaned out temp files, and even rebooted my router. However, when I troubleshoot, it says, "DNS server is not responding." Just now, it took ages to load even Google's homepage! Everything else in my house connects to the WiFi just fine (like my PS5, smartphones, and TV), so what gives? Any advice on what else I could do?

You might want to check your DNS settings directly. Open the command prompt by typing "cmd" in the Windows search bar. Then enter "ipconfig /all" and look at the DNS server and Default Gateway addresses. If they're different, that's a clue!
Have you tried changing your DNS server? I found that switching to 8.8.8.8 worked for some people with similar issues. Just a thought!
It sounds like this might be a DNS-related issue. Have you tried flushing the DNS? You can do this by typing "ipconfig /flushdns" in the command prompt. It’s worth a shot!
I had a similar problem with my HP notebook! Even though it connected to WiFi, it wouldn’t access the Internet. I kept running those ipconfig commands and tried reconnecting to WiFi multiple times. Frustratingly, I went through that for months until the computer finally gave up on me. Fingers crossed yours doesn't have the same fate! Good luck!
I tried that, but it didn't make any difference.
