I've been having some serious issues with my laptop crashing when I play specific games, particularly Marvel Rivals and The First Berserker: Khazan. The freezes come with a loud noise, and the only way to fix it is by holding down the power button to turn it off and then booting it up again. It's weird because other games run fine without any crashes. I initially thought it might be a RAM issue, so I upgraded from 16 GB to 64 GB and got a new SSD. While performance improved a bit, the crashing didn't go away. Today, I couldn't even finish a single game of Marvel Rivals without it crashing on me. I've got Windows 11 and all my drivers updated. I've heard it might be an issue with the Unreal Engine and NVIDIA GPUs, but I'm not sure. My laptop specs include a Razer Blade 16 with an i9 processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 laptop GPU, plus two storage drives. Any ideas on what could be causing these crashes?

Have you checked your laptop temperatures? Overheating can cause crashes, especially during games. You should try using HWInfo64 to monitor the temperatures while you game. If it’s getting too hot, consider cleaning the vents or checking if the fans are clogged. It sounds like your laptop is relatively new, so this might not be the issue, but it’s worth ruling out.
It sounds like you might need to check if you’re getting any dump files when the crashes occur. Those can give you insights into what's going wrong. Try checking the C:WindowsMinidump folder for any files after a crash. If you find some, zip them up and upload them to a file-sharing site for easier access so we can analyze them. It could really help identify the problem.
Thanks! I’ll check the temperatures. I’ve kept it in a clean space, and the fans looked okay when I upgraded the RAM and SSD, but I don't know how to access them fully.
