I'm thinking about picking up the WD BLACK SN850X 4TB SSD for $250, and I'm curious if it's a good deal. Should I stick with this one, or would it be better to go for a 2TB Gen 5 drive like the 9100 Pro instead?

You're gonna want that extra storage, especially with today's games eating up so much space. I set up a 2TB SSD and I'm already running out of room! If you're looking for recommendations, I think Best Buy has them available right now.
I just got this drive last month for $205 on Amazon, but had to cancel my order due to shipping delays. Regrets aside, this 4TB drive is fantastic and performs almost as well as the Samsung 990 Pro!
Right? For the price and the storage, you can't beat it.
For $250, you're getting a great deal for a 4TB SSD. It's suitable for most applications, and you'll definitely appreciate the extra space!
Absolutely, that's a solid buy! If you're mainly using your PC for gaming, the 4TB SN850X is a better choice than a 2TB Gen 5 SSD. You'll really only notice the speed difference if you're doing things like video editing or transferring large files regularly.
Yeah, 4TB is a great buy! It's especially useful for program files and games. Just keep in mind that the difference in performance between Gen 4 and Gen 5 SSDs is pretty negligible in day-to-day usage.

No kidding! I've been eyeing the 990 Pro too, but it seems like this WD drive holds its own.
