How to Fix Strict NAT Type Issues for Gaming?

I'm having a tough time trying to fix my strict NAT type, which is preventing me from playing Black Ops 3. I have already tried several things like forwarding ports, enabling DMZ, activating UPnP, and even using a VPN, but nothing seems to work. I'm really lost and would appreciate any help on how to resolve this issue!

Thanks for the info! I checked and I do have a 192.168 IP. So, it seems like my situation is similar. I'm guessing my only option left is to look into a VPN that supports port forwarding?

Have you checked if your Internet Service Provider (ISP) is using CGNAT? You can find out by looking at your router settings. If your WAN IP starts with 100.64 to 100.127, then that means they are using CGNAT. If your IP starts with 192.168, 172., or 10.x, it's a different NAT issue that could still be causing your problems.

Also, keep in mind that most VPNs will use strict NAT unless you pay for a static IP or port forwarding option. Your best shot, if your ISP doesn’t support IPv6, is to get a VPN that provides those features or use an IPv6-compatible VPN service like Tunnelbroker.

If you're struggling with port forwarding, I suggest checking out some guides specifically for your router model. That can help clarify the process and might solve your NAT issues.
