How can I improve my gaming FPS on my PC?

I've got a gaming setup with an Intel i7 12700K, a 3070 Ti graphics card, and 64GB of RAM. My monitor supports 165Hz refresh rate, and I've ensured that Vsync is turned off. However, I've been facing a frustrating issue where my FPS in games like CS2 and GTA rarely exceeds 100. Interestingly, both my CPU and GPU usage remain quite low, with the CPU staying under 60°C and under 40% usage while the GPU is under 50%. I've already prioritized the game in the task manager and set my power management to maximum performance. Any suggestions on how I can resolve this FPS problem?

Make sure to check your Windows settings and ensure your power plan is set to 'Performance.' It might also help to update your graphics drivers, and look for any BIOS updates for your motherboard—those can sometimes boost performance significantly.

Hmm, have you checked what brand your motherboard is? That can affect performance a lot, especially in prebuilt systems.

You're definitely on a performance plan, right? Sometimes, even small settings can mess things up. Just double-check if anything is still set to power saving.
