Which CPU is better for DAW and gaming: Ryzen 9600X or 7600X?

I'm in the process of finalizing my PC build list and I'd love some advice! I'm considering either the Ryzen 9600X or the Ryzen 7600X to pair with an RTX 3060 V2 OC edition. My current setup includes a TUF B650 Plus WiFi AM5 motherboard, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, a 1TB Samsung Evo Plus SSD, and a 750W Gold PSU. My budget for the GPU is around $220, so if you have alternative suggestions there, I'm open to hearing them. Also, do I need a cooler for whichever CPU I choose? I'm still deciding on the case, but I'm sticking to ATX to make sure it fits. Thanks for your help!

I would recommend going with the Ryzen 9600X. It tends to perform better in both DAW applications and gaming. Just keep in mind that you'll need a good cooler for any CPU since they can get pretty hot. The Thermalright Peerless Assassin is a solid choice if you're looking for performance without breaking the bank.

Definitely get a cooler, especially for heavy workloads. The Peerless Assassin is a great option!
