I've been planning my first PC build, but prices for RAM are skyrocketing. Initially, I wanted to get Kingston 32GB CL30 6000MHz RAM, but that became too pricey. Then I looked into Kingston 16GB CL30 6000MHz, which is also getting costly. Now, I'm considering Kingston 16GB CL36 5600MHz as a budget-friendly alternative. Would that be a poor choice? I also found Corsair 16GB CL40 5200MHz, but CL40 seems a bit high for my liking.
I'm using the ASUS TUF Gaming B650-Plus WIFI motherboard and AMD Ryzen 5 7600 CPU. Do these components sync well with my RAM choices? The RAM's max speed is higher than the motherboard's standard 5200MHz but can be overclocked to 6400MHz. I'm not too worried about latency since I mainly want to run games like Witcher 3, No Man's Sky, and Baldur's Gate 3 on a significantly better setup than my aging system. As long as the RAM suffices for those games, I'm content.

You’re totally fine with CL36 5600MHz. Unless you’re really focused on getting the absolute best performance, you probably won’t detect any difference from CL30 6000MHz. If you're upgrading from an old system, anything will feel like an upgrade!

Haha, nice to hear! I’m not picky about frames anymore. I actually found Corsair RAM with CL40 latency at a lower price. Would that be too high, or would it also work?
