Why is my keyboard adding extra letters when I type certain keys?

I've been having a weird issue with my keyboard. Whenever I type the letters A, Y, P, W, L, or even the period '.', an extra letter gets added right after. For example, if I type 'A', it shows up as 'AL', and the same goes for 'L'—it also comes up as 'AL'. This same problem happened to me before in FL Studio when I was searching for presets in VSTs, but until now, I never had this issue outside of that program. I'm not sure if this is a hardware problem or a software glitch, but I'd love to know how to fix it!

It sounds like there might be some liquid damage to your keyboard. Even if you haven't spilled anything, dust and debris can sometimes cause keys to misbehave. I’d recommend trying to clean it out. It could be a lost cause, but it’s worth a shot!

Thanks for the reply! I did blow some dust out earlier, so maybe that's a good sign? I'll give cleaning it a go.
