Why Is My Valorant FPS Lower Than Expected?

I'm currently experiencing lower than average FPS in Valorant, getting around 200-260 on low settings while I expected an average of 393. My PC specs include 16GB RAM, an RTX 5060 graphics card, and a Ryzen 5 5600GT CPU. Has anyone else had similar issues? I've already tried enabling D.O.C.P., but it didn't change my FPS. For reference, I'm playing at 1080p resolution.

Honestly, 200 FPS at 1080p sounds a bit off for your setup. With a Ryzen 5 5600GT and the RTX 5060, you should be getting better frames. Check if your monitor cables are plugged into the GPU instead of the motherboard—this can sometimes affect performance.

You might want to double-check a few things. Sometimes, videos showing FPS aren't exactly reliable. Make sure your in-game settings align with those in the video you watched, and your resolution matches too. Also, don’t forget to update your graphics drivers! If you've done all that and are still stuck, you might need to dive into deeper troubleshooting options.
