I have a PowerStore system that was powered on only twice and then shut down for three years. Now I've encountered a Node A error, and it seems the issue could be fixed with a firmware update, but Dell isn't providing that since ProSupport ended in March. I'm trying to find any third-party companies that can offer hardware and software support, similar to extended warranties for cars. I'm located on the East Coast of the USA and would appreciate any recommendations!

When systems like yours sit idle for a long time, it’s crucial to run a health check once you power them back up. Things like batteries, PSUs, and RAID controllers can all misbehave after being dormant. Just because it boots doesn't mean it's truly healthy. It might be worth doing a quick audit before going for external support.
You might want to check out Park Place Technologies or Service Express. They both offer support for Dell PowerStore devices and can tailor their services according to your needs. I've heard good things about them!
Awesome suggestion! I've had a great experience with Park Place, they cover hardware and software needs really well.

I appreciate the advice! I'll look into doing a health check due to the minimal usage and see what flags up before diving into third-party support.
